Live Map & Monitoring
The Home tab is where you watch the active job unfold: a live map of the driver, a driver info panel, and today's and upcoming jobs. Attendance status for each transfer is shown on the Calendar schedule rows (see Calendar).
The live map
The map at the top of the Home tab shows the currently active driver's live position. It is a compact preview — it re-centres on the driver automatically and refreshes roughly every 30 seconds. You can also pull down to refresh manually.
If no driver is active, the driver marker is empty and the jobs list shows "Nothing scheduled right now" or "No Jobs Today".
What the pin colour means
The marker's colour shows how recently the driver's location was updated — not whether they are online:
| Pin colour | Last location update |
|---|---|
| 🟢 Green | Within the last 30 minutes |
| 🟠 Orange | Between 30 minutes and 4 hours ago |
| ⚪ Grey | More than 4 hours ago (or never) |
The marker also carries a short freshness label — "Just now", "5m ago", "2h ago", "1d ago", or "Never".
A grey pin does not necessarily mean the driver is offline — it may simply mean their device has limited connectivity. Fleet drivers are drawn with a purple marker body (non-fleet drivers are blue); the freshness colour is shown separately on the marker.
Below the map, a driver info panel repeats the active driver's details and last-synced time.
Job status monitoring
Each transfer has an attendance status shown as a coloured clock icon on its schedule row in the Calendar tab. Tap the clock icon to see the exact timestamp.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| no icon | Nothing has started yet for this transfer |
| 🟠 Orange | The driver has started the job but has not yet confirmed the guest pick-up |
| 🔵 Blue | The guest has been picked up and the trip is in progress |
| 🟢 Green | The transfer has been completed |
| 🔴 Red | A no-show report has been filed for this transfer |
Statuses update automatically as the assigned driver progresses through the job in the Driver app.
Job detail
Tap a job in the Calendar tab to open its detail view, which shows:
- Hero header — the guest (tourist) name and passenger count.
- Attendance QR — the job's check-in QR code.
- Job Information — the travel agent, and the created / last-updated timestamps.
- Locations map — the stays and stops for the job.
- Stays and Transfers — each transfer row carries its own attendance status chip.
