1. Travel Agent Portal Overview
The Rectrix Link Travel Agent Portal is a web application at portal.rectrixlink.com. It is the control hub for travel agents — where itineraries are created, transfers are built, drivers, tour guides and contractors are assigned, and all active travel is monitored.
2. Creating an Itinerary
An itinerary is the core unit in Rectrix Link. It represents a guest's travel booking — their personal details, their stays, and every transfer between locations.
3. Managing Itineraries
Once an itinerary has been created, you build it out from three kinds of items: stays, transfers, and (for airport transfers) flights. Everything you add is visible to the guest.
4. Drivers, Tour Guides & Contractors
The Drivers, Tour Guides & Contractors section (often shortened to "DTC") is where you set up the people who fulfil your transfers — independent drivers, tour guides, and contractor companies — and your own fleet drivers. Once they are set up, you can assign them to transfers on any itinerary.
5. Priority Jobs
Priority Jobs are a category of job for fast-turnaround transfers. Open the section from Priority Jobs in the side-nav.
6. Requests
The Requests section tracks the job requests you have assigned out to your drivers, tour guides, and contractors. Open it from Requests in the side-nav.
7. Billings
The Billings section is where you review what your service providers are owed for the transfers they handle. Open it from Billings in the side-nav.
8. Calendar
The Calendar gives you a day-by-day view of every transfer your agency has scheduled. Use it to see what is happening on any given date and to make quick adjustments to individual transfers.
9. Locations (Live Map)
The Locations screen gives you a real-time view of your active drivers on a single map. Use it to monitor progress during a busy travel day.
10. Messaging
The Travel Agent Portal includes built-in Chat so you can communicate with guests, drivers, tour guides, and contractors without leaving the portal. Chat supports text messages and voice messages.
11. Account & Settings
Your account lives on the Profile page. Open it from Profile in the side-nav (under Account). There is no separate account-settings dropdown — everything is on the Profile page, organised into sections:
