2. Creating an Itinerary

An itinerary is the core unit in Rectrix Link. It represents a guest's travel booking — their personal details, their stays, and every transfer between locations.

Starting a new itinerary

  1. Log in to the portal at portal.rectrixlink.com.
  2. Click Add Itinerary in the side-nav (under Shortcuts), or click + Add Itinerary on the Dashboard, or click + Add Itinerary on the Itineraries page.
  3. The new-itinerary form opens.

Unlike a step-by-step wizard, this is a single scrolling form with clearly labelled sections: Guest Details, Stay Details, and Itinerary Details (transfers). Fill them in top to bottom and submit once at the end.

Add Itinerary form

Guest Details

Fill in the guest's personal information:

FieldDescription
First NameGuest's first name
Last NameGuest's last name
Email AddressGuest's email — used to send them the itinerary
Contact NumberGuest's phone number (with country code)

Under Guest Types, enter the passenger counts. These are plain numeric fields — type the number directly:

  • No. of Adults
  • No. of Children
  • No. of Infants
tip

Double-check the email address — it must be correct for the guest to receive their itinerary.

Stay Details

A stay represents where the guest is staying between transfers. In the Stay Details section:

  1. Set the Start Date and End Date using the date pickers.
  2. Enter the Location (for example, "Marina Bay Sands").
  3. Click Add Stay Detail to add the stay to the list.

You can add multiple stays. Use the row actions to Edit Stay Details (which opens a dialog with Start Date, End Date, and Location, plus Delete and Save) or remove a stay.

Itinerary Details (transfers)

Transfers are added in the Itinerary Details section. Click to open the Add Itinerary dialog and complete it:

FieldDescription
TypePrivate (PTE) or SIC (shared, seat-in-coach)
CategoryThe transfer category, drawn from your DTC configuration (e.g. arrival/departure, disposal, city tour). The available categories depend on the Type you chose.
DateDerived from the stay dates
Pick-Up Time (24h)For SIC transfers this reads "Pick-Up Time (24h · estimated)". Time-block categories (e.g. disposal, city tour) show Start Time (24h) and End Time (24h) instead.
Pick Up Locatione.g. "Changi Airport"
Drop Off Locatione.g. "Marina Bay Sands"
Flight NumberShown only for airport categories (arrival/departure). Type a flight number, e.g. "SQ318". The hint confirms whether it is arriving into or departing from Changi Airport.
RemarksSeparate tabs for Guest, Driver, and Tour Guide so you can leave different notes for each.
Select ticket(s)Attach ticket files (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf).
Return Time (Optional)For non-terminal transfers. Reads "Return Time (Optional · estimated)" for SIC.

Add the transfer to the itinerary. Repeat for each leg. See Managing Itineraries for editing and assignment details.

Templates

To speed up repeat itineraries you can reuse a saved template:

  • Click Use Template to open Select Itinerary Template, then Apply Template to load its transfers.
  • Click Add as Itinerary Template to save the current transfer setup; give it a Template Name and Save Template.

Templates are managed under Profile → Travel Agent → Itinerary Template.

Submitting

When Guest Details, stays, and transfers are complete, click Submit Itinerary at the bottom of the form. The itinerary is created and appears in your Itineraries list.

tip

You can start adding or editing transfers right away. See Managing Itineraries.

Finding an existing itinerary

  1. Go to Itineraries in the side-nav.
  2. Use the Active / Cancelled filter tabs to narrow the list.
  3. Click View on any row to open it.

You can also use the top-bar Search to find guests and itineraries from anywhere in the portal.
