2. Home Dashboard
The Home screen is the first thing you see when you open the Guest app. It's your "what's happening now" view — your upcoming trips, where your driver is, your flight status, and your check-in QR code.
Opening the Home screen
- Open the Rectrix Link app on your phone.
- The app opens directly to the Home screen.
If you are on another screen, tap the Home icon (the first icon in the bottom navigation bar).
Your Coming Trips
Home is titled "Your Coming Trips". It has:
- A NEXT UP hero card for your very next trip.
- A LATER list grouping the trips after that.
NEXT UP timing labels
The NEXT UP card shows a live timing label so you know how soon you'll be picked up:

| IN 15 MIN | Less than an hour away |
| IN 3H | Later the same day |
| TOMORROW | The next day |
| MONDAY / 15 DEC | Further ahead (weekday name, then date) |
YOUR DRIVER
The YOUR DRIVER panel shows your assigned driver and, when available, their location.
- A freshness dot tells you how current the driver's location is:
- 🟢 Green — updated within the last 30 minutes
- 🟠 Orange — updated within the last few hours
- ⚪ Grey — no recent update (or never synced)
- A last-synced label (e.g. Just now, 5m ago, 2h ago, or Never synced).
- A refresh button to fetch the latest location on demand.
The panel stays locked until close to your pickup. Before then you'll see:
Driver details appear 30 minutes before your pickup
Once unlocked, the driver's location updates automatically about every 30 seconds. Use the refresh button if you want an immediate update.
FLIGHT
If your trip includes a flight, a FLIGHT card shows its live status. It appears while the flight is still relevant and drops off once the flight has landed / arrived.
CHECK-IN QR
Home has an embedded CHECK-IN QR section.
- Tap CHECK-IN QR.
- A full-screen sheet opens with your QR code, and your phone's screen brightness is turned up to maximum automatically so it scans quickly.
- Show it to your driver or guide to mark your attendance.
- Close the sheet — your brightness is restored to its previous level.

Chat and Notifications
- Tap the speech-bubble / message icon in the top-right corner to open your Chat inbox. A number badge shows unread messages.
- Tap the bell icon in the top-right corner to open Notifications. A red badge shows unread alerts.
Refreshing
Pull down on the screen to reload the latest trip, driver, and flight information.
