8. Profile & Settings

The Profile tab is where you manage your account and customise how the app looks and behaves. At the top you'll see your photo, name, and role.

Opening Profile​

  1. Tap the Profile icon (the last icon on the right) in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. The Profile screen opens.

The rows are grouped like this:

At the bottom is a Log out button.

Account​

Tap Account to manage your details. The Account Information section has:

You can also edit your profile photo from here, and there's a Delete Account action at the bottom.

Changing your username​

  1. Tap Username.
  2. Enter a New Username (letters, numbers, and . _ -, at least 3 characters).
  3. The app checks availability and shows a green tick if it's free, or tells you if it's already taken.
  4. Tap Change Username.

Changing your password​

  1. Tap Password.
  2. Enter a New Password (at least 8 characters).
  3. Enter it again in Re-enter New Password.
  4. Tap Change Password.

There is no current-password field — you only enter the new password twice.

Linking a third-party login​

  1. Tap Link Third Party Login.
  2. Under Linked Accounts, connect Google, Apple (iOS only), or Facebook. A blue tick marks accounts that are already linked.

Deleting your account​

Tap Delete Account. You're shown a 30-day recovery window before deletion is permanent:

  • You're logged out immediately.
  • Your data is kept for 30 days, during which you can reactivate by emailing support.
  • After 30 days, your personal information is obfuscated and can't be recovered.

Security & Privacy​

Tap Security & Privacy to manage:

  • App Lock — require your device biometrics to open the app (toggle).
  • Map — set your default maps app for navigation.
  • Legal — Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Permissions — a status list for Camera, Gallery, Location, Biometrics, Background Refresh, and Notifications. Tap Update Permissions to open your device settings and change them.

Appearance​

Theme​

Tap Theme and choose Light, Dark, or System (follows your phone's setting). The change applies immediately.

Font Size​

Tap Font Size and drag the slider between the small and large A markers. A live Preview shows the effect. Tap Reset to Default to return to the standard size.

Support​

  • FAQ — browse frequently asked questions.
  • Debug logs — technical logs you can share with support if asked.

Logging out​

Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap Log out. From the Profile screen this signs you out straight away (no confirmation), returning you to the Login / Account Selection screen.

If you sign out from the side drawer instead, that button shows a "Are you sure you want to sign out?" confirmation first.
