6. Billing
Billing in the Contractor app is settled per provider and per driver — there is no single "Billing" screen where you pick a date range and generate a report. Instead, the Profile tab has two billing entries:
- Standard Job Billings — jobs where you and the other party have a pre-agreed rate.
- Priority Billings — priority jobs with no pre-agreed rate, billed at the priority total cost.
Standard Job Billings
Open Profile → Standard Job Billings (the screen is titled "Standard Billings"). It has two tabs:
| Tab | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Received | Money owed to you — a provider bills you for completed transfers. Headed "Total Earnings". |
| Given | Money you owe — you pay your drivers. Headed "Total Given". |
Each tab lists the providers/drivers involved. Open one to see its billing requests and transfers.
Requesting payment (Received side)
On the Received side, tap Request Payment to bill a provider for the completed transfers. This is a payee-only action — on the Given side you pay through the billing card instead.
Billing status
Each billing request carries a status:
- Pending — submitted, awaiting the other party.
- Paid — settled.
- Rejected — declined.
A billing summary reconciles the trip earnings with any Transfer adjustments and Total adjustment lines, so partial or corrected amounts are shown transparently.
View Invoice
Tap View Invoice to open the invoice as a spreadsheet (Excel) preview.
Priority Billings
Open Profile → Priority Billings (titled "Priority Billings"). These are priority-pool jobs with no pre-agreed rate — the priority total cost applies.
Filter the list with the chips at the top:
- All
- Yet to Quote
- Paid
- Unpaid
A priority job first shows "Waiting for Driver Quote"; once the driver quotes, tap Pay Now to pay it. A payment-proof step exists for priority billings (upload proof of payment) — this is separate from standard job billing.
There is no "Billing Information → Start/End date → Generate → choose Standard/Priority → Submit → Submit Payment Proof" flow in the current app. Billing is per provider/driver as described above.
