2. Home & Live Locations
The Home screen is your command centre. It has two tabs across the top:
- Overview — a real-time map and list of where your drivers are right now.
- Today's Job — today's transfers, grouped by the driver assigned to them.
Overview — Live Locations
The Overview tab shows a "Live Locations" map with a marker for each driver, followed by an "Active Drivers" list below it.
- Each marker is one driver. A driver only appears as a marker if their phone has reported both a latitude and a longitude — if a driver is in the list but not on the map, their app has not sent a GPS fix yet.
- The map and list update automatically. Pull down to force an immediate refresh.
Location freshness
Next to each driver, a coloured dot shows how recent their last location update is:
| Dot | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 🟢 Green | Updated within the last 30 minutes |
| 🟠 Orange | Updated 30 minutes to 4 hours ago |
| ⚪ Grey | Older than 4 hours |
Tap a driver's row to expand it — you'll see their vehicle, their current coordinates and resolved street address, when the location was last updated, and any active job (guest, pick-up time, and route).
Cached data
If the app can't reach the server, the list shows "Showing cached data" with a timestamp of how old the data is. It refreshes automatically once you reconnect, or you can pull down to retry.
Searching for a driver
Use the "Search for driver" field above the list to filter the Active Drivers list by name.
When no drivers are reporting locations, the list shows "No Active Drivers".
Today's Job
The Today's Job tab lists today's transfers grouped by the assigned driver. Within each driver's group, transfers are ordered by time; drivers are sorted alphabetically, and any transfers without a driver are grouped last under "Unassigned".
Each card shows the guest, pick-up time, route, status, and the assigned driver. If a card is unassigned, use Assign Driver on the card to dispatch one of your fleet drivers — see Fleet Management.
Tap a card to open its detail screen.
Notifications and chat
In the top-right corner you'll find:
- Chat icon — opens your messaging inbox; a badge shows unread messages.
- Bell icon — opens your notifications; a badge shows unread alerts.
