5. Rates
The Contractor app keeps two separate rate screens — there is no single "Rates" screen with tabs. Open them from the Profile tab:
- Inbound Rates — the rates travel agents offer you. These are read-only: you review and Accept or Reject them, you do not author them.
- Outbound Rates — the rates between you and your own fleet drivers.
Inbound Rates (from travel agents)
Open Profile → Inbound Rates. Travel agents author these rate offers; you only respond to them. Offers are organised into three sections by lifecycle stage:
| Section | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending Response | New offers awaiting your Accept / Reject |
| Active Offer | The offer you accepted and are currently working under |
| Inactive Offer | Superseded or previously active offers |
Pricing is broken down by transfer type, and each transfer type carries Private and SIC (seat-in-coach) categories.
If no agent has offered you rates yet, the screen shows "No Rates Offered" ("Rates offered from travel agents will be shown here.").
Reviewing and responding to an offer
- Under Pending Response, tap View Details to expand the price table and review each transfer type (Private / SIC).
- Tap Accept to agree, or Reject to decline.
- Reject shows a "Reject Offer" confirmation before it goes through.
Accepting is final. When you accept an offer it becomes the Active Offer and all other pending offers from that agent are invalidated. To change accepted rates, ask the agent through Chat to send a revised offer — it goes through the same pending flow.
Outbound Rates (with your fleet drivers)
Open Profile → Outbound Rates (titled "Outbound Rates"). These are the rates between your fleet drivers and yourself. Each driver you have added appears with their agreed rates.
If you have not added anyone yet, the screen shows "No Rates Offered" ("Rates you have offered to drivers will be shown here.").
Adding a driver and their rates
Tap Add Driver (blue button, bottom-right). This opens a two-step wizard.
Step 1 — driver details. First choose the driver type with the Fleet / Adhoc toggle:
-
Fleet — create a brand-new driver account. Fill in:
- Upload profile image (optional)
- First Name and Last Name
- Username — checked for availability live as you type ("Username is already taken" if in use)
- Email Address
- Mobile Number — with a country-code picker
A password will be generated and emailed to the driver automatically once this account is created. There is no need to set one manually.
-
Adhoc — link an existing driver instead. Search by name, email, or username and pick them.
Tap Next to continue.
Step 2 — rates. Set the agreed prices, split into Private and SIC tabs.
Editing a driver's rates
Open the driver from Outbound Rates — the entry has an edit icon that reopens the wizard on the rates step ("Edit Rates").
There is no "Add Rate" button, no vehicle-type field, and no swipe-to-delete on either rate screen. Inbound rates come entirely from agents; outbound rates are managed per driver through Add Driver / edit.
