6. Priority Jobs

Priority Jobs are transfer slots offered openly to available drivers. Unlike a standard Job Offer — which your contractor assigns to you directly — a priority job is first-come, first-served: the first available driver to take it gets the job. You can also create your own priority listings to pass transfers to the priority pool.

Opening Priority

Tap the Priority tab in the bottom navigation bar. The screen has two tabs, each with a live count:

TabShows
Available (N)Priority jobs you can take right now
By You (N)Priority listings you have created

Empty states read "No Priority Jobs Available" and "You Have Not Created Any Priority Jobs Yet".

You may also receive a push notification when a priority job becomes available; tapping it opens that job's Priority Job Detail screen.

Taking an available priority job

  1. On the Available tab, tap a listing to open the Priority Job Detail screen.
  2. Review the time, pick-up and drop-off locations, pax count, and any notes.
  3. Tap Take Priority Job.
  4. A dialog titled "Important" appears: "Please take note that priority job cannot be cancelled once accepted, are you sure you want to proceed?" Choose Yes to take it, or No to back out.
warning

A priority job cannot be cancelled once you accept it. Only take one if you are certain you can complete it. If your plans change afterwards, contact your contractor via Chat as soon as possible.

Once taken, the priority job is added to your schedule and runs through the same process as any standard job — follow the Pick-Up Workflow and Destination & Drop-Off on the day. Billing is handled through Priority Billings.

If a priority job is no longer available

Because priority jobs are first-come, first-served, a slot may be taken by another driver or cancelled before you accept it. If that happens, the Priority Job Detail screen shows "Job Unavailable" — "This job has been cancelled or already taken by another driver and is no longer available."

There is no "reject" step for an available priority job: if you do not want it, simply leave it.

Creating your own priority listing

Use the By You tab to pass one or more of your transfers into the priority pool so another driver can take them.

  1. On the By You tab, tap Add Listing.
  2. On Add Priority Job, fill in the guest details, guest types (adults / children / infants), job information, and transfer details. If the guest already has an account, entering their email auto-fills their details.
  3. To add a leg, tap Add itinerary for {date} and complete the itinerary entry.
  4. Set a price (minimum $30) for all transfers.
  5. Tap Submit.
tip

You can also send existing scheduled transfers to Priority from the Calendar — select transfers and use the Priority action. See Calendar.
